All that for One Second???

16:06, 3rd place, 5:06, 5:13, 5:09, :33

It's a measly one second PR, but I ran with heart today and I kept at it through the finish. It was nice to beat the two guys who beat me two weeks ago, and after crossing the line I felt as horrible as I ever have after a race. I left it all out there.

I'm up in Phoenix for some time with the family, so I probably won't check in until Tuesday. Hope everyone had a good weekend.

A PR is a PR! Good work, and you have the satisfaction of knowing you left it all out there.

I wish I could run those kind of mile splits.......

I think this sort of speed bodes well for your marathon build......

Good job Mike, congratulations on the PR. Better to have left it all out there... look forward to the details.

Running a PR and beating your usual opponents should be satisfying enough. Congratulations on a good race.

There is nothing "measley" about a PR. A new personal best is still a personal best!! Awesome job and placement! Kudos for getting those two guys with everything you had!!

Have fun in Phx!
