It's my Birthday

I turn 36 today and I celebrated with an easy 12 miles on slightly heavy and sore legs. Finn is a bit needy today, so this is all you get for an entry. The little guy misses his mom, but I can hopefully keep him occupied. Together we'll find some kind of trouble to get into.

Training: 12 miles, 1:24:58, 7:05 pace

Happy Birthday Mike! It's been fun getting to "know" you through your blog and I have already learned quite a bit. Hope your day is a good one.

I read somewhere that Dave McGillvray, Boston Marathon race director, runs a mile for every year he's been alive every birthday. So when he turned 36 he did a 36 miler. Now he's in his 50s.

You ran 12 today? Happy Birthday, slacker.

Seriously, though, I'm really glad you're around. I always think of you as a masters runner because of the massive amount of wisdom you share on this blog.

(Soon enough.)

Time marches on...happy birthday, Stimpy.

Echoing Ian's comments, it's not that soon, but you're going to be a hell of a masters runner with this base. If you have to get old, you may as well be the fastest old guy around!

Have a good one.

Happy Birthday Mike! Teaming up with your boy to get in trouble sounds like an excellent idea.
