Tucson Weather at 3:53 a.m.

Guess it's time for a long run. At least the moon is up.

Well, when I went running today just after 5am it was 54F/12C, very windy and the rain was pouring down no holds barred.

What kind of conditions do you prefer?

It's hard to explain just how hot it is here. The temperature in Phoenix at 7AM this morning was 97. I think I'd enjoy a few days of wind and rain as Thomas describes. Nice job getting out there and pounding out the miles.

Yeesh! :-/ Props to you for putting in any mileage in these conditions.

Insanity - my Dad was out hiking (likes to climb a mountain nearby a few times a week) at 6am Thurs. and said it was miserable. He is in Phx.

Talk about one who should be used to the temp - he has been doing this for over 30 years. Those temp jumps will throw off anyone!

Mike & Phil,

No explanation needed. I know exactly what you mean by the weather conditions. Here in Baghdad it's low-90s at 5:30 in the morning. Great conditions for an early morning run.

That's crazy. I thought I had it bad when it's in the mid 70's before sun up.
