Usually it ends up being around 3-5K pace, but since my sessions at the track are fairly short (around 5K though sometimes a little longer). If I log the splits it's mostly to look back at them later (usually during my next build), or to let the coach know how it's going.&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;For the anaerobic phase there is often a target range, especially if I'm coming up to a preliminary race and I want to get some idea of what pacing strategy to use, but it's never set in stone.
